Wickr is transforming the way companies and organizations secure valuable, high-target communications. Wickr’s secure ephemeral collaboration tools empower businesses and end-users to ensure that no sensitive conversation remains accessible beyond its useful life and intended audience.
Wickr found success in the consumer segment early in its history. As the cybersecurity industry grew in importance during the late 2010’s, Wickr found itself in the middle as a major player. The company needed to turn its focus to the enterprise segment and retained Integro to work on a capital raise and a buy side M&A transaction.
The company Wickr was interested in acquiring was a fellow SF-based startup that possessed valuable intellectual property in the area of networking infrastructure. The IP would give Wickr new capabilities in collaboration and video conferencing. Integro performed qualitative and quantitative analysis on all aspects of the deal which was closed in early 2016. Additionally, Integro provided support on a venture financing round that was closed during the same period.
